You can take panorama photos either from side to side or from up to down.
Taking a panoramic photo using your iOS device
- Go to you your apps and open Camera
- Swipe the screen to the left to change modes. If you're on the normal mode (Photo), you need to swipe twice to change the mode to Pano.
- Make sure that you're holding your phone upright (portrait mode). By default, taking a panorama picture starts from the left going to the right, but you change directions by tapping the arrow.
- Tap the capture button in the bottom center to start taking your pano photo. Start to pan from left to right (or right to left if you changed the direction) and make sure that the arrow stays within the line.
- Tap the capture button again once you're done. You can check your photo afterwards.
The Camera app can take up to 240 degrees angle in one panoramic shot, but it's up to you if you want to go that far or stop at a lesser angle.
Taking a panorama photo vertically
Panorama is not only for landscapes, you can also make a panorama shot vertically. A good example is taking a tall tower.
- Go to you your apps and open Camera
- Swipe the screen to the left to change modes. If you're on the normal mode (Photo), you need to swipe twice to change the mode to Pano.
- Taking a vertical pano shot, you need to hold your device on a landscape.
- Same with taking a normal pano shot, tap the capture button to start taking the picture and pan up and down making sure that the arrow stays in the line.
5. Simply tap the capture button once you're done and then get these beauties printed.
